How do I find peer-reviewed journal articles?

Answer

Finding peer-reviewed articles is easy with the Search Everything box on the library's homepage. Once you type in your search terms and hit enter, the page that loads will have limiters on the left-hand side. There is an option to click "Peer-Reviewed." Once you click that box, the page will reload with only peer-reviewed materials. To further ensure that you are only searching journal articles, click the limiter further down on the left side of the page that says "Journal Articles." The page will again reload and show materials that fit your specifications. We also have a very helpful video on searching for peer-reviewed journal articles on the library's YouTube channel here.

If you have a specific journal, volume, and issue, we encourage you to look that up here. If the search yields no results, your next step is to request an article through Materials on Demand
